2 injured in Khagrachhari gun attack

Two people were injured in a gun attack in Panchari Upazila in Khagrachhari district on Saturday night. The injured are Ramjan Ali, 50, and his wife Anwara Begum, 39, hailing form Haladhar Para of the Upazila. Locals said some unidentified miscreants opened fire at the couple while they were on the lookout at their crop field around 7:30pm. The duo was sent to local hospital for treatment. Land dispute might be the cause behind the gun attack, local sources said, according to a news agency.
