2 JCD leaders injured in Jessore

Two local leaders of Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD) were injured in an attack by miscreants at Jhikargachha upazila in Jessore district on Wednesday night. The victims were identified as Aminur Rahman, 25, office secretary of Kashipur union unit of JCD and son of Abdul Jalil, a resident of Chanpatala village, and Mithun, 22, organising secretary of the same unit and son of Mashiar Rahman, a resident of Mirzapur village of the upazila. Witnesses said a gang of miscreants swooped on Aminur and Mithun and opened fire while they were gossiping with some of the party men at a tea stall at Kashipur Bazar at night. The attackers chopped Aminur and Mithun with sharp weapons, leaving them injured. Locals rescued them and rushed them to Jessore 250-bed Hospital, according to UNB.
