2 JMB activists get 30-yr imprisonment

A Dhaka court has sentenced two activists of banned Islamist outfit Jama'at-ul-Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB) to 30 years in jail for involvement in bomb explosion and sabotage on Mymensingh court premises on August 17, 2005, reports bdnews24.com.
Dhaka's 4th Speedy Trial Tribunal Judge Mohammad Rezaul Islam gave the verdict Tuesday.
The convicted persons were identified as Md Kawsar Alam alias Shumon and Amanullah Akand alias Sanaullah.
