2 kids drown in 2 districts

Two children drowned in Moulvibazar and Habiganj districts on Saturday. In Moulvibazar, a boy drowned in a pond at Nasratpur village in Kamalganj upazila. The deceased was identified as Kabya Sutra Dhar, 3, son of Khokon Sutra Dhar, a resident of Jamalpur district. Family sources said Kabya slipped into the pond around 9am and drowned. Later, family members found his floating body in the pond. In Habiganj, Nayeem Mia, 8, son of Shabaj Mia of Anandapur village in Ajmeriganj upazila, drowned in a river. Locals said Nayeem drowned in Basira River near his home while taking bath around 11:30am. Local people rescued him from the river and rushed him to a local clinic where doctors declared him dead, according to UNB.
