2 kids drown in Kishoreganj

Two children drowned in a pond in Hossainpur Upazila in Kishoreganj district on Saturday. The deceased were identified as Jannat, 3, daughter of late Manik Miah and Saiba, 3, daughter of Khuki Mia of Pudurghat village in the Upazila. Police and local people said the two children slipped into the pond in the village while playing and drowned. After a hectic search, locals recovered their bodies from the pond, according to UNG.
