2 killed, 10 hurt in Sylhet road mishap

SYLHET, Jun 20 (UNB): Two people were killed and 10 others injured in a head-on collision between a bus and truck at Hajipur in Golapganj upazila on Sylhet-Jokiganj road Thursday morning.
The dead were identified as truck driver Foysal Ahmed (35), of Goashpur village of the upazila and Helal Ahmed (40), of nearby Chaughari village.
Witnesses said the speeding bus collided with the truck coming from opposite direction at about 10am, killing the two people on the spot.
The injured were admitted to a local hospital.
