2 killed, 40 injuredin road accident

KURIGRAM, Sept 25 (UNB): Two people were killed and 40 others injured when a bus plunged into a roadside ditch in Garohari Bridge area in Razibpur Upazila Thursday night.
The deceased were identified as Dulu Miah (28) and Chand Miah (29), both residents of Koraikandi village under Roumari Upazila.
Police said the Dhaka-bound bus of Doel Enterprise from Roumari skidded off the road and fell into the ditch at about 11pm when the driver lost control over his vehicle, killing the two young men on the spot and injuring other people.
The injured were admitted to the Upazila Health Complex.
