2 killed in Barisal crashes

Two people, including a teenage boy, died in separate incidents in Barisal Sadar Upazila of the district on Friday. Family sources said Ridoy, 13, son of Krishak Federation Barisal unit president Harun Vandari, died from electrocution at his house at Nazir Mahalla in the city on Friday night. Ridoy received electric shock when he switched on the water-pump at his house around 8:00 pm. He was rushed to Barisal Sher-e-Bangla Medical College Hospital where doctors declared him dead. In another incident, Nazmul, 20, son of Ali Ahmed of Charkawa of Barisal, drowned in Kirtankhola River on Friday night, according to UNB.
