2 killed in city road crashes

Two people were killed in separate road accidents in the capital Thursday. One of the deceased was identified as van puller Alam Mollah (50), son of Golam Mollah of Chouhali in Sirajganj district while identity of another victim could not be known immediately. Police, quoting witnesses, said Alam met the tragic accident while he was going to Khilgaon kitchen market with his van. In another accident, a 55-year old unidentified woman was crushed under the wheels of a vehicle near Priyanka Shooting spot on Mirpur embankment under Pallabi police station early in the morning. — UNB
