2 killed in city truck accident

At least two people were killed as a truck overturned at Badda in the city on Monday night. The deceased were identified as Abdul Mutaleb, 55, hailed from Shariatpur district and Nura-e-Alam, 29, hailed from Thakurgaon district. Police quoting witnesses said a speedy truck skidded and turned turtle after hitting with power pole, leaving two people, who were carrying their goods by the truck, dead on the spot. Police recovered the bodies and sent those to Dhaka Medical College Hospital for autopsy in the morning, according to a news agency.
