2 killed in C\\\'nawabganj road accident

Two people were killed and three others injured in a collision between a truck and a human hauler in Shibganj upazila of Chapainawabganj district on Tuesday morning. The deceased were identified as Mojammel, 40, son of Safar Ali, a resident of Mirzapur village and Babul, 40, son of Taslim Uddin, a resident of Chakpara village of the upazila. Police said a truck collided head-on with a shallow machine-run three-wheeler coming from the opposite direction in Koilabari village around 6:00am, leaving the human hauler passenger Mojammel dead on the spot and four other people injured. The injured – Babu, 42, Nur Hossain, 18, Shamim, 33, and Babul, 40, – were rescued and rushed to Shibganj upazila health complex. Later, Babul succumbed to his injures on way to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital, according to a news agency.
