2 killed in Magura road accident

Two people were killed and six others injured on Saturday when a truck carrying buffaloes and a pickup van collided head-on at Magura Sadar Upazila. The accident took place at Kochundi on Magura-Dhaka highway, Highway police’s Sub-Inspector (SI) Oziar Rahman said. He said all the victims were dealing in used garments. They were travelling on the pickup van on way to Magura. The dead are Saddam Hossain, 25, and Saidul Islam, 25. Both hailed from the Sadar Upazila. Tosharraf Azadul, 22, Azizul Mia, 24, 'Mintu', 18, 'Alamgir', 27, 'Momrez', 30, and 'Shimul', 21, were admitted to the Sadar Hospital with injuries, according to bdnews24.com.
