2 killed in separate incidents in Khulna

Two people were killed in two separate incidents in Paikgachha upazila of Khulna district on Tuesday. The deceased were identified as Mohananda Sana, 24, son of Parimal Sana, hailing from Choladhana village, and Rajendranath Roy, 42, son of Boloram Roy, a resident of Chatkhali village. Mohananda Sana, who completed an engineering degree, demanded Tk 0.30 million from his father for going abroad. However, his father Parimal refused to give the money. Following this, Mohananda took pesticide around 5pm. Later, he was rushed to the upazila health complex where on-duty doctors declared him dead. In another incident, Rajendranath Roy died after being hit by stings of fish at Chatkhali Bazar. Rajendranath went to a fish market in the evening where he bumped into a basket of fish, just to receive stings of some tengra fish inside. He was rushed to upazila health complex and later shifted to Khulna Medical College Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries around 8pm, according to a news agency.
