2 killed in wall collapses in N\\\'ganj, Munshiganj

Two people, including a woman, were killed in separate incidents of wall collapse in Narayanganj and Munshiganj districts on Thursday. In Narayanganj, a woman was killed when a portion of a boundary wall collapsed on her while cleaning the drain amid rain around 11am at Galachipa in the town. The deceased was identified as Nazma Begum, 30, a resident of the area and used to live as a tenant at the house of Haji Ashraf Ali with his two brothers. Shafiqul Islam, sub-inspector of Sadar Model Police Station, confirmed the incident. In Munshiganj, a septuagenarian man was killed when a wall collapsed on him while he was taking tea at a local tea stall at Dakkhin Manda village in Sreenagar upazila of the district on Thursday. The deceased was identified as Abdul Majid Morol, 75, a resident of the village, according to a news agency.
