2-member body of BNP\\\'s Ctg N dist formed

As part of her move to reorganise the party, BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia on Saturday night formed a two-member convening body of Chittagong North district dissolving its earlier committee. Aslamul Haque Chowdhury was made convener of the new committee while Kazi Abdullah Al Hasan its member secretary. Khaleda formed the committee after a views-exchange meeting with leaders of the district at her political office at Gulshan in Dhaka. The convening committee was asked to form a full-fledged committee of Chittagong north district through holding a council within 45 days, meeting sources said. At the meeting, Khaleda gave her various directives to local BNP leaders and activists to strengthen the party in the district and make it ready for a strong movement. She also urged them to get united and work for the party putting behind their all the conflicts and misunderstanding, according to UNB.
