2 minor siblings found dead in Shariatpur

Police recovered the bodies of two minor siblings from their house at Kalika Prasad village in Naria upazila on Monday.
The deceased were identified as Sadia, 7, and her sister Samia, 5, daughters of Liakat Hossain Madbar of the village, a news agency report said.
Police said as Sadia and Samia did not get up from bed till late morning, their mother called them. However, they did not respond to the call.
As the mother raised screams, locals rushed in and informed police.
Later, the law enforcers recovered the bodies and sent those to sadar hospital morgue for autopsy.
Police also detained Liakat Ali for interrogation.
Contacted, officer-in-charge of Naria Police Station Ekram Ali Miah said no injury marks were found in the bodies. They were investigating the incident, said the OC.
