2 missing in Kishoreganj boat capsize

Two people went missing as an engine-run boat capsized at Chakuria Haor in Ashtogram upazila of Kishoreganj district on Tuesday. The victims were identified as Aftab, 28, and Sohel, 30. Qamrul Islam Molla, officer-in-charge of Ashtogram Police Station said an engine-run boat carrying about 100 passengers, including Aftab and Sohel, sank in the haor while the boat was going to Kuliar Char upazila from Ashtogram at about 9:00 am. The duo went missing after the incident while others managed to swim ashore, according to a news agency.
