2 more Bangladesh Hajj pilgrims die in KSA

Two more Bangladeshi Hajj pilgrims, incuding a female pilgrim, have passed away in different cities of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA). Sources at the Hajj mission have said a Bangladesh female Hajj pilgrim passed away in Holy Medina on Saturday morning. The deceased was identified as Musammat Marufa Shahjahan Shaila, 37, wife of Shahjahan Babu, hailed from Purbapara area of Gaibandha Sadar upazila. Her passport number is BE-0657271 and Hajj ID No 9963278. The sources from Medina Hajj Mission further said she fell sick in front of Medina Hajj Mission around 7:00am (local time). She breathed her last on her way to a local hospital, the sources informed.
Eariler, a male Bangladesh pilgrim passed away in the Holy city of Mecca Al Mukarrama. The deceased was identified as Mohammad Atiar Rahman, 78, of Kalaroa Upazila of Satkhira district.
A reliable source at Mecca Hajj Mission said he possessed a passport bearing BE-0986378 number. According to Mecca Hajj Mission, he died due to old age complications. The sources quoting hospital doctors said he had been suffering from heart, lungs and other ailments. With this, eight Bangladeshi pilgrims, including the female one, have died in the KSA in the current Hajj season, according to a news agency.
