2 more held after Myanmar separatists-BGB gunfight

Two more people have been arrested in Rangamati after Myanmar separatists-BGB gunfight in Bandarban district. A team of Bangladesh Army detained the two persons on Friday afternoon after the recent encounter between suspected ‘Arakan Army’ members of Myanmar and Border Guard Bangladesh personnel in Bara Madak area under Thanchi Upazila in Bandarban. The arrestees were identified as Mongsoang Marma, 39, and Chosui Ong Marma, 42. Another suspected member of Myanmar’s separatist outfit, Arakan Army, was arrested on Wednesday night, according to news agency.
