2 more murder allegations against Rab-11

Allegations of killing two more people and dumping their bodies into rivers have been brought against the members of Rapid Action Battalion-11 in the district. The Rab members picked up Hossain Showkat, a land property trader of Siddhirganj, and Tajul Islam, a clinic owner of Sonargaon, and murdered them before throwing their bodies into the rivers, the families of the victims said. They came up with the allegation during a human chain formed in front of Narayanganj Deputy Commissioner’s (DC) office on Sunday noon. With tears-soaked eyes, the victims’ families demanded capital punishment for the accused Rab members, including three sacked Rab officials -- Lt Col Tareque Sayeed Mohammad, Major Arif Hossain and Lt Commander MM Rana, according to a news agency.
