2 RMG workers die in accident

GAZIPUR, Aug 9: Two workers died as they fell into an Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) of the garment factory Urmee Knitwear Ltd in Mouchak area of Kaliakoir upazila of the district on Saturday. The deceased were identified as Lavlu, 25, of Siddeshwar Khankabari village of Gaibandha district and Razzak, 55, of Siddipasha village in Abhaynagar upazila in Jessore. Being informed that two bodies were floating in the ETP water of the factory, police recovered and sent those to hospital morgue for autopsy. — UNB
