2 RU BCL men hurt in bomb attack

Two activists of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) of Rajshahi University (RU) unit were injured in a bomb attack by unidentified miscreants on Tuesday morning. Injured BCL men – Tagar Mohammad Saleh and Masud Hossain – were rushed to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital in critical condition. Witnesses said the two BCL men, residents of Madar Box Hall, were going by a road beside the hall when a gang of miscreants who waylaid them swooped on them at around 8:00am. They hurled several hand made bombs and hacked the two indiscriminately before fleeing the spot. Officer-in-Charge (OC) Alamgir Hossain of Matihar Police Station said ten suspects were detained in connection with the attack, according to a news agency.
