CHAPAINAWABGANJ, Mar 24 (BSS): ASSEDO, a non-government organization, has set up two pre-primary schools for providing education to the poor children of erosion hit char areas in Narayanpur and Alatuli unions under Sadar upazila of the district.
Agriculture Sustainable and Socio-Economic Development Organization (ASSEDO) has taken up this noble responsibility of educating the erosion stricken children of the Padma River.
The unions are situated in remote char areas of the river Padma. The people of those unions have been living under constant threat of river erosion. Most of the people lost their homes, land and properties several times.
