2 shot dead in Jhenidah

Some miscreants have shot to death two men and dumped their bodies in a vegetable farm at Phulnari village under Kaliganj Upazila in Jhenidah district. The dead are Adbul Hadi, 35, and Shohag Ali, 30, both hailing from Rajapur village in Jessore Sadar Upazila. Being informed, police have recovered their bodies from the vegetable farm beside Jhenidah-Jessore highway on Tuesday morning. Police said the bodies bore bullet wounds in head and chest. ‘We suspect they were murdered sometime during Monday night,’ Kaliganj Police Station's inspector Md Younus Ali said, according to a news agency.
