2 shot dead in Noakhali

Unidentified miscreants have shot to death two young men and dumped the bodies in a pond and a ditch at Pashchim Deliai Bazar under Chatkhil upazila in Noakhali district. Local people noticed the bodies floating in a pond and a nearby ditch at Pashchim Deliai Bazar while returning from mosque after fazr prayers on Monday. Informed by the villagers, a police team from Chatkhil Police Station rushed to the spot and recovered the bodies around 10:00am. One of the bodies bore bullet injuries to the chest while another to the throat, police and hospital sources said, according to a news agency.
