2 students commit suicide

BENAPOLE, Mar 18 (UNB): Two college students allegedly committed suicide in two separate incidents in Jessore on Tuesday night.
The deceased were identified as Sayem Khan alias Hasibul, 25, son of Mamunur Rashid, a resident of C-Block in Upashahar area, and Parvez Hossain, 18, son of Quader Miah, hailing from Kazipur village in Sadar upazila.
Police and family sources said Sayem, a 4th year student of diploma engineering of BCMC College, hanged himself with the ceiling of his room in a huff with his girlfriend on Tuesday night.
Later, he was whisked off to Jessore Medical College Hospital where on-duty doctors declared him dead.
