2 traders die in Rajbari road accident

Two traders were killed in a road accident at Chandani in Rajbari district on Wednesday. The victims were Aminul (40) and Ahadul (30), residents of Gangni upazila of Meherpur district. Sub-Inspector (SI) of Pangsha Highway Police Station Abdul Mannan said the two businessmen were going to Faridpur to sell saplings riding on a power-tiller-run vehicle. The vehicle turned turtle as the driver lost his control over the steering leaving the two traders dead on the spot, the SI said. However, the driver had managed to flee the spot, he added, according to a news agency.
