2 transport workers gunned down in Noakhali

A gang of armed miscreants in separate incidents shot to death two transport workers' leaders at Chatkhil upazila in Noakhali district on Tuesday morning. The deceased were identified as Kamal Uddin, 35, a transport workers' union leader and employee of a ticket counter of 'Al Baraka Paribahan' at Dashgharia Bus Stand at Chatkhil and Dulal Hossain, 25, a bus helper and a local transport workers' leader. Dulal was the son of late Nurul Islam of Sundurpur village of the same upazila, according to private TV channels.
