2 UAE road crash victims buried in Ctg

Two of the three Bangladesh nationals who were killed in a road accident in the United Arab Emirates were laid to eternal rest in Chittagong on Tuesday. They were buried at their respective village in Rauzan and Hathazari Upazilas after Johr prayers. Earlier in the morning, the bodies of the two Bangladeshis were brought back home. A flight of Biman Bangladesh Airlines carrying the bodies of Farhad Miah and Akhter Hossain landed at Hazrat Shah Amanat (R) International Airport around 7:10am. On completion of formalities, the bodies were handed over to the victims’ family members around 8:30am, said Jahirul Islam Majumdar, assistant director of the Bureau of Manpower, Employment and Training (BMET). On September 2, three expatriate Bangladeshis were killed and two others injured in the road accident in the UAE. The deceased were identified as Farhad Miah, Mohammad Elias and Akhter Hossain. The former two hailed from Rauzan Upazila and the latter from Hathazari Upazila of the south-eastern district, according to a news agency.
