2 women killed in Thakurgaon crash

Two women were killed and eight other people injured in a road accident at Guagaon College intersection under Pirganj municipality area in Thakurgaon on Thursday. Identity of the deceased could not be known immediately. Quoting witnesses, police said the accident took place in the area around 4.00pm when a Thakurgaon-bound ‘Saju Paribahan’ minibus crashed into two women while giving side to a motorbike coming from the opposite direction and slewed into a roadside ditch, leaving the two women killed on the spot and eight bus passengers injured, according to UNB.
