2 workers electrocuted in Comilla

Two construction workers died from electrocution while another was injured in Burichang upazila of Comilla district on Wednesday morning. The deceased were identified as Mahsin,35, and Ismael,37. Witnesses said Mahsin, Ismael and Rasel came in a contact with a live electric wire when they were working in an under-construction building in the area at about 9:00 am, leaving the trio injured. Later, Mahsin and Ismael died while being taken to the upazila health complex. Uttam Barua, officer-in-charge of Burichang Police Station confirmed the incident, according to a news agency.
