20 DU female students asked to leave hall

The Dhaka University authorities have asked 20 residential students of Kobi Begum Sufia Kamal Hall to leave their dormitory. However, the DU authorities are yet to assign any reason for issuing the order to the 20 students who have been residing in the Sufia Kamal Hall for more than one year with seats properly allotted to them by the concerned department of the DU. Campus sources said the university authorities asked them to vacate their seats in their respective rooms at the dormitory on Tuesday night. Before it, a notice was hanged asking them to leave the hall. The 20 students of the Sufia Kamal Hall were identified as: Nazia, Julekha, Tahmina Akter Emina, Tanzina Akter, Amena Khatun, Nahida Akter Rubi, SRS Antin, Frazana Rahman, Afsana Akter, Parvin Akter, Jarin Tasnin, Maria Jamia Tamanna, Chadni, Nazma Khatun, Akhi, Tayeba Tanzim, Khaleda Parvin, Munira Khatun, Masuma and Faria Liza, according to a news agency.
