20 hurt in BCL-JCD clash

COMILLA: At least 20 people, including three policemen, were injured as Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD) men clashed with police and activists of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) at Comilla University Saturday.
Police and witnesses said the clash broke out when BCL activists, led by its university unit convener Mahmudur Rahman Masum, attacked the procession brought out by JCD activists for welcoming the freshers during the admission test of honours first year of the university in the afternoon, according to a news agency.
At one stage, both groups attacked each other, leaving 17 people injured on both sides.
