20 industries to get President's Award

Twenty industrial units will get the President's Award for Industrial Development- 2020 for their outstanding contribution to the national economy by setting up industries in private sector and creating employment.
Industries ministry on Wednesday issued a gazette notification in this regard.
A total of 20 companies have been selected in six categories. Of them five are under the large and medium industries category, four small, one micro, two cottage and three hi-tech industries, according to the notification.
Runner Automobiles Ltd and Incepta Pharmaceuticals Ltd have jointly secured the first position under the large industry category.
BRB Cable Industries Limited and Fariha Spinning Mills Ltd have jointly been selected for second position in this category while Envoy Textile Ltd secured the third position.
Under the medium industry category, Noman Terry Towel Mills Limited has been selected for the top position while Mascotex Ltd and APS Design Works Ltd have jointly secured second position and Bengal Polymer Wares Limited and Auko Tex Limited jointly been selected for third position.
Masco Overseas Ltd has been selected for first position under the small industry category followed by Abdul Jalil Ltd and Pacific Sea Foods Ltd joint second position and Madhabdi Dyeing Finishing Mills Ltd third position.
Masko Dairy Enterprise has been selected for first position under micro industries category while Intelligent Card Ltd and Rangmela Nari Kalyan Sangstha have been selected as first and second ones under cottage industry category.
Fair Electronics Ltd, Mir Telecom Ltd and Service Engine Ltd have been selected under hi-tech industry category as first, second and third position respectively, according to the gazette.
