20 injured in Gopalganj clashes

GOPALGANJ, Sept 6: At least 20 persons were injured seven of them critically in two separate clashes at Pukuria and Maghegati under Gopalganj Sadar Upazila of the district Friday evening.
The critically injured Laltu Molla (55), Mehadi Hassan (22), Mithun (24), Miraz Fakir (45), Tabarok Fakir (50), Lablu Khan (55) and Kashem Ali (60) were admitted to Gopalganj 250-bed hospital in a critical condition.
According to local people and Thana police sources said a long time enmity between Kalu Khan and Ranbar Sheikh of Pukuria village and Muksed Ali Khan and Mukul Khan of Maghegati Village under Gopalganj Sadar was going on over supremacy on the area.
