20 injured in Magura clash

MAGURA, Apr 15: At least 20 people including 3 women were injured in a clash in village Boraldia under Sreepur Upazila of Magura Tuesday morning.
Akhteruzzman, officer-in-charge of Sreepur police station said, around 11 in the morning an altercation took place between Mukter Hossein and Ashalat Mian of the same village over irrigation paddy field. The altercation resulted in a clash.
Supporters of Mukter and Ashalat equipped with leathal weapons locked into a clash leaving at least 20 persons injured. Seriously injured Kabir, Khalek, Ripon, Babul, Makim, Alim, Monirul, Mustafa, Alina, Nahar and Anna were admitted to Magura Sadar Hospital.
On information, police rushed to the spot and brought the situation under control.
