20 injured in Sylhet clash

SYLHET, Mar 29 (UNB): At least 20 people were injured in a clash between two rival groups over land dispute at Birkuli village in Goainghat upazila Wednesday morning.
Locals said there was a longstanding enmity between two groups of people of Birkuli and Jangail villages over a piece of 100 decimal lands in Birkuli Chharalkona area.
Police said an altercation ensued in the morning while the villagers of Jangail went to Chharalkona to take possession of the land.
