20km tailback on Jamuna Bridge Link Road

A long tailback appeared in the Link Road on the west side of Bangabandhu (Jamuna) Bridge on Saturday. Sources at Hatikumrul Highway Police Station said a 20-killometer tailback on Bangabandhu (Jamuna) Bridge Link Road (west) pushed hundreds of passengers into serious sufferings from early Saturday into morning. They said the traffic jam started from Jamuna Bridge Link Road (west) Intersection to Hatikumrul Intersection as a passenger bus and a lorry went out of service in Nalka and Kodda areas of Sirajganj district, according to private TV channels.
