21 lecturers lose jobs over certificates forgery

Twenty one lecturers of a college in Jessore’s Keshabpur Upazila have lost their job over forgery of teachers registration certificates.
Besides, two teachers, along with the lecturers of Keshabpur Degree College, have also been suspended over the allegations of embezzling money.
Chairman of the college administration council Reba Bhowmik said Education Ministry’s Joint Secretary Mojibur Rahman and Directorate of Inspection and Audit’s Deputy Director Rashed Uzzaman looked into the matter after the allegations were made last June, according to a news agency. “Lecturer Rafiqul Bari and computer studies teacher Bulbul Quddus were suspended while 21 lecturers were sacked in an administration council meeting Thursday following recommendations of the investigation report.”
