21 presiding officers withdrawn from Satkhira\\\'s Kalaroa

The Election Commission (EC) on Saturday withdrew 21 presiding officers appointed at Kalaroa Upazila (UZ) in Satkhira for the fourth phase of the UZ polls. Confirming the matter, Kalaroa Upazila Election Officer Benzir Ahmed said the 21 presiding officers were withdrawn on suspicion of their link to two political parties. Polling at the upazila parishad is scheduled to be held in 67 centers on Sunday. About 1,64,544 voters, including 80,775 males and 83,769 females, will cast their votes, according to UNB.
