212 BNP-Jamaat activists freed on bail in Pabna

PABNA, Aug 6: More than two hundred leaders and activists of various parties, including BNP and Jamaat, who were arrested in various police stations in Pabna during the quota reform movement, have been released on bail. They got bail from the court on Tuesday. Later they came out of the prison.
Deputy jailor of Pabna district jail Mehedi Hossain said that till 6:00 pm they received the bail papers of 212 people. This number may increase.
Johurul Islam, former office secretary of Pabna District BNP, said that more than two hundred leaders and activists of BNP-Jamaat, who were arrested in various police stations, were released on bail on the day.
