22 addl secys promoted, appointed to key posts

The Caretaker Government (CG) has promoted 22 additional secretaries to secretary, and appointed them to various key posts in a major reshuffle in the interim administration, reports UNB.
An official announcement Tuesday said, Food and Disaster Management Ministry acting secretary Dhiraj Malakar was appointed secretary to the Ministry, while LGRD and Cooperatives Division acting secretary M Nazrul Islam made secretary for the division, and Land Appeal Board acting chairman Dewan Jakir Hossain elevated to chairman.
Chief Adviser's (CA) Office acting secretary Kazi M Aminul Islam has been made secretary to the CA's Office while Primary and Mass Education Ministry acting secretary M Mosharraf Hossain Bhuiyan made secretary of the Ministry, and Finance Division acting secretary Dr Mohammad Tareque made secretary of the Division.
Besides, Civil Aviation and Tourism Ministry acting secretary Sheikh Altaf Ali has been made secretary of the Ministry, while Tariff Commission acting chairman M Shafiqul Islam made chairman of the Commission. CHT Affairs Ministry acting secretary M Abdus Sabur has been made secretary of the Ministry, and Election Commission Secretariat acting secretary M Humayun Kabir made secretary.
Land Reform Board acting chairman M Monirul Islam has been made chairman of the Board, while Expatriate Welfare and Overseas Employment Ministry acting secretary M Abdul Matin Chowdhury secretary of the Ministry.
On the other hand, Post and Telecommunications Ministry acting secretary Sheikh Khurshid Alam has been made secretary of the Ministry, and BCS Administration Academy acting Director General M Delwar Hossain made DG of the Academy.
Environment and Forest Ministry acting secretary Abul Hasan M Rezaul Kabir became secretary of the Ministry, while Home Ministry additional secretary Mohammad Mohsin has been made executive chairman of the Board of Investment.
Housing and Public Works Ministry acting secretary ASM Rashidul Hye was made secretary of the Ministry, and Youth and Sports Ministry acting secretary M Golam Mostafa Talukder secretary of the Ministry.
Moreover, Planning Commission acting members Mohammad Abdul Majid and M Shah Alam have been appointed members of the Commission, while Privatisation Commission acting member Nasiruddin Ahmed made member of the Commission, and Women and Children Affairs Ministry acting secretary Begum Rokeya Sultana made secretary of the Ministry.
