22 culprits held on various charges

JOYPURHAT, Oct 21 (UNB): The members of Police and Rapid Action Battalion (RAB), in separate drives, arrested 22 culprits from five upazilas of the district Saturday on various charges including robbery, theft and drug smuggling.
RAB members arrested three people along with 80 bottles of phensidyl syrup from Atapur under Panchbibi Upazila, two people from Baghjana union parishad office along with 20 bottles, a man from Joypyrhat bus stand along with 10 bottles and a woman from Fakirpara under Hakimpur Upaizla of Dinajpur district with 46 bottles of phensidyl.
On the other hand, police arrested four people each from Kalai, Khetlal and Sadar upazilas, two from Panchbibi and one from Akkelpur upazilas.
Separate cases have been filed against them.
