22,500 Yaba recovered: 3 held

Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) personnel arrested three people in possession of 22,500 Yaba tablets from a bus in Teknaf Upazila in Cox’s Bazar district on Wednesday night. The arrestees were identified as Ismael, 35, a resident of Pollanpara village, Shakher, 18, a resident of Shimultali village, and Abul Bashar, 35, of Larrpara village of the Upazila. Acting on a tip-off, a team of RAB-7 intercepted a bus in Link Road BSCIC area and recovered 22,500 Yaba tablets after searching bodies of the three who were travelling by the bus at about 7:00pm. The RAB tmen handed over he arrestees and the seized Yaba to Cox's Bazar Model Police Station. A case was filed, according to UNB.
