22,759 clear medical entry test

Altogether 22,759 candidates have cleared the combined medical and dental admission test. But only 10,227 of them will find a place in the public and private medical and dental colleges. DGHS Director General Deen Muhammad Nurul Haque handed over the results to State Minister for Health Zahid Maleque on Sunday. Among those who passed, 11,313 are female students. The results can be found at the directorate's website www.dghs.gov.bd. As many as 67,000 aspirants sat the edmission tests held on Friday. Twenty-nine government medical colleges have 3,162 seats while 56 private medical colleges have 5,325 seats. Nine government dental colleges or units will enrol 532 students, while 23 private dental institutions are offering 1,280 seats, according to bdnews24.com.
