23,700 Bogra Municipality children vaccinated

BOGRA, Dec 15: 23,700 children of Bogra municipality had been vaccinated in the last five days.
The municipality started the immunization programme on December 8 to immunize the children against polio and completed it on December 12, 2007.
Deputy Commissioner of Bogra Humayan Kabir inaugurated the programme on the premises of municipality Bhaban.
Acting chairman of Bogra municipality Sayed Anawrul Islam Babla was present on the occasion.
About 86 centres were established in 12 wards of the municipality to make the programme successful.
Some groups of vaccinators had been working at night to vaccinate the floating children in different streets and areas of the municipality.
