24 CCCI directors elected unopposed

CHITTAGONG, Jan 30: All 24 directors of the Chittagong Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI) were elected unopposed Thursday, as their rivals remained out of the race.
However, election for the posts of president, senior vice present and vice president will be held on March 5, as scheduled.
There are four separate groups in the CCCI executive body - Ordinary Group with 12 directors, Associate Group with 6 directors, Town Association with 3 directors, and Trade Group with 3 directors.
The newly-elected directors are A K M Akter Hossain, Nurun Newaz  Selim, Anjan Shekhor Das, M A Motaleb, Mahbubul Hoque Chowdhury Babor, Majharul Hoque Chowdhury, Anowar Shawkat Absar, Md Arif Iftekhar, Md Didarul Alam, Md Rokibur Rahman, Md Jahidul Hoque, Sarwar Hasan Jamil, Md Sirajul Islam, Jahirul Islam Chowdhury, Mahbubul Alam, Mahfuzul Hoque Shah, Ohid Siraj Chowdhury Swapan, S M Shamsuddin, Habib Mohiuddin, Md Habibul Hoque, Jahurul Alam, Kamal Mostafa Chowdhury, Md Amjad Hossain Chowdhury and Syed Jamal Ahmed.
