25 BNP-Jamaat activists held in Ctg

CHITTAGONG, Mar 7 (BSS):  Chittagong district police, in nightlong drives, arrested 25 activists of BNP-Jammat from different area of Sitakunda, Satkhania and Lohagara upazilas on Thursday night.
On a secret information, Sitakunda Thana police in nightlong raid from 8 pm to 6 am arrested 10 Jammat-Shibir men from different areas of Sitakunda upazila, Rehena Akter, Sub Inspector (SI) of Sitakunda thana, said.
The arrested were involved with vandalism in different areas under the thana recently, Rehena Akter added.
Mostafizur Rahman, SI of Satkhania Thana said police arrested 11 BNP-Jammat activists from different areas of the thana.
Officer-in-Charge of Lohagara thana Mohammad Shahjahan said, on a tip- off, a team of the thana arrested four BNP-Jammat activists from different areas of the thana last night.
