25 injured in clash between two groups in Gopalganj

GOPALGANJ, Nov 26: At least 25 persons were injured, 8 of them critically, including a woman, in a clash between two groups at Pukuria village under Gopalganj Sadar Upazila of the district Tuesday.
The critically injured Ayub Ali Mollah (50), Atiar Mollah (55), Kamal Kha (34), Hasmat Mollah (37), Sukur Mollah (30), Rehana Begum (25), Shamim Mollah (28) and Aminur Mollah (23) were admitted to Goplaganj Sadar Hospital.
According to local people and thana police sources, the clash began centering on a stolen van and both groups used country-made weapons.
On information local thana police reached the spot and put the situation under control. Police administration, Gopalganj posted additional forces to avoid any further clash.
