25 JMB activists produced before court in M'singh

MYMENSINGH, Sept 1 (BSS): The police produced 25 cadres of Jama'atul Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB) including three persons, who were awarded capital punishment, before two separate courts in the district Tuesday.
They also include Fahima Akhtar, wife of executed JMB second- in-command Bangla Bhai. The three JMB cadres, who have been awarded capital punishment, are Salahuddin Salehin, Asaduzzaman Ponir and Rakib Hasan.
Of them, 20 JMB cadres were produced before Judge Dalil Uddin of the 4th Additional District and Sessions and Special Tribunal
Court while five others were produced before Judge Md. Shafiuddin
Ahmed of the 2nd Additional District and Sessions and Special
Tribunal court.
They were produced before the courts for hearing and taking deposition of witnesses in three cases including one on series bomb blasts in Mymensingh, the sources said.
Later, the judges ordered to send the accused to jail.
